It is important that you the correct artwork for personalistion of your promotional items. A lot of people get confused with the fact that they can be given a visual of their product showing their logo using jpegs. This works well for a visual however for printing purposes you will need to get an ediatble eps file. This is a file that can be changed and edited hence the editable.
