You can use promotional items in a variety of different ways - they don't always have to be a free giveaway used to promote. Some companies, such as charities, may get a variety of items printed with their logo to sell on . This allows them to generate funds while allowing people to show their support for their cause. Typical items used include custom printed badges, clothing and promotional stickers. Its not just charities who use promotional items this way either, in the 2008 American Presidential election Barrack Obama was praised for his use of a shop on his website that enabled his supporters to buy a variety of products with his logo and slogan.
