You can use promotional items in a variety of different ways - they don't always have to be a free giveaway used to promote. Some companies, such as charities, may get a variety of items printed with their logo to sell on . This allows them to generate funds while allowing people to show their support for their cause. Typical items used include custom printed badges, clothing and promotional stickers. Its not just charities who use promotional items this way either, in the 2008 American Presidential election Barrack Obama was praised for his use of a shop on his website that enabled his supporters to buy a variety of products with his logo and slogan. In this time of political change in America it is interesting to note that one of the first promotional items was the humble button, used by George Washington in 1789 to help him win the election. Promotional badges have since become a staple of American elections, with people proudly wearing theirs to display their allegiance to their party. Presidential candidates have been known in more recent times to use their website to actually sell promotional items such as t-shirts, bags and hats with their slogans draped across them. So if promotional items prove effective for a president, why wouldn’t they be for you? We have a wide range of promotional badges, from the more simple button badges, to printed hard enamel badges such as the one pictured above. Badges make a great giveaway, and just like a campaigner shows their support for a candidate, your customers or staff will be showing their support for your company every time they wear them.
